GOAL FOR THE NEXT WEEKS
I want to create baggy jeans that can be both casual-wear and a statement piece
My name is Jaydon
I’m Jaydon Guerra and I’m Dominican. I don’t have much experience in the arts, so this is all pretty new to me. I use to be the kind of person that cares less about fashion, throwing on whatever’s comfortable like a pair of sweats and a hoodie. I didn’t even care about it matching.
One day, my sister really put me on her style, baggy jeans with a 90s-inspired aesthetic. It really inspired me.
This brand began with my sister and me, two kids, figuring out who we were through style. ‘90s culture hit us hard. Baggy jeans, oversized fits… that whole era shaped how we moved, and it’s still in everything I design.
What are your intentions in joining the Rambler design program?
I’m about keeping it real: pieces that feel easy but hit different. Loose jeans, denim jackets, simple, clean, but bold enough to make noise. It’s streetwear without trying too hard, just timeless fits made to move with you.
This is about staying true. To the culture. To the era. To yourself.
