What’s your story, how did you get here as a creative?

I’m a multifaceted creative that’s passionate and dedicated to creating, producing, and styling fashion pieces.

At a young age, I became obsessed with styling the clothes I had in my closet. I would be cutting up my pants or shirts to style it in different ways. As I grew, I began to direct creative photoshoots and eventually my family’s brand, PLAYHEAVY, was gifted to me. I’m currently its designer and owner.

I began to take the brand on different paths. It started off as street wear fashion, but I started growing my style with it and expanded the brand’s design and audience to more alternative / punk audiences.

What’s your creative mission as a designer, and for the NYC Rambler Summer Program?

My creative mission as a designer is to learn the skills and techniques it takes to grow my brand. I want to build community and connections by also directing creative photoshoots, fashion shows, and any social events that includes mixing creatives together.

Eventually, I’d also like to become a stylist or costume designer, working wardrobe in the film industry. For the summer program, my creative mission is to learn as much as I can from my peers and the Rambler mentors. I would love to network, build connections, and learn sewing skills.
