GOAL FOR THE NEXT WEEKS
I’d like to improve my sewing and learn new techniques
My name is Anizia
I’m from Queens, and I’ve always kept to myself—art has been the one place I disappear into. If there’s a pen and paper around, just know I’m going to draw on it.
I lost my dad when I was nine. That shaped a lot of who I am—more than I probably realized until I started creating.
This brand is my way of keeping him close: red bandannas, big shorts, oversized shirts—the little things that remind me of him. But I’m not just copying his style. I’m blending it with mine.
Boyish edge softened with tied tops, jewelry, nails, and details that feel like me. To me, what you wear should tell your story. This is mine:
Tough, but soft. A little lost, but held together.
Calm. Somewhere in the middle.
Made with love—for the love I carry, and the love I’m still looking for.
What are your intentions in joining the Rambler design program?
I saw that the program was all about art and fashion, and that really spoke to me—I’ve been wanting to get deeper into fashion for a while now.
My intention is to express something deeply personal: what’s important to me, and the love I felt was missing growing up—especially from my dad.
