Femme Fatale Corset for
TNO Design Challenge
I’m really inspired by the nineties and noughties fashion. I follow accounts on Instagram dedicated to posting catwalk pictures from this era, from designers like Thierry Mugler. I often base my outfits on these pics.
I just look in my closet to see how I can best recreate that outfit and that’s what I wear.
Corsets are really inspiring me right now. As do denim, mesh, and rhinestones.
I’ve combined all these elements in my design for the Summer School.
I’m really proud of how it turned out.
Femme Fatale ~ High Heels ~
" Lingerie wordt steeds meer als een kledingstuk gezien en is een echte trend geworden. Mijn idee is geïnspireerd op de kledingcollectie van het merk Thierry Mugler. Mijn designs zijn een 2-piece outfit, bestaand uit een korsettop en een rok met snake pistol highheels.
De kleuren ZWART en ROOD staan voor DURVEN, KRACHT en ZELFVERZEKERDHEID. De SLANG staat voor BEWEGEN DOOR OBSTAKELS VAN HET LEVEN en voor HET VERVELLEN / VERVANGEN VAN OUD NAAR NIEUW. Het PISTOOL staat voor het AFREKENEN MET HET VERLEDEN."
