Hey my name is Alex

I’m from Cameroon and I’ve been living in Germany for 10 years, 7 of which have been in Berlin. My family are craftsmen and I’ve already done a lot of work in this field. Growing up, I was involved in it so it’s present throughout my creative journey.

I would like to work in the creative and cultural field by pursuing craftsmanship. I love creating in general, but especially experimenting with different fabrics and materials. I want to show that every material, regardless of its form or characteristics, can be used or upcycled.

My style is alternative. I want to create new things by combining aesthetics, ethics, and respect for the laws of nature.

This year, I want to be more in harmony with my inner self, to connect, to learn more basic skills and to learn about the background of art.

My projects aim to raise awareness that the textile and design industry is harmful to our environment. I want to be part of a social movement that shapes and advances a sustainable future.
